The Four Mile Inn: traditional community hospitality
Listen carefully and you might hear the creak of footsteps from the venerable pub's resident ghost. But if the lively banter in the bar drowns out the spooky sounds, you'll at least appreciate the atmosphere of this listed building with its low, beamed ceiling and the traditional stone fireplace in the restaurant area. It's the kind of friendly place where they organise outings to the golf or the Perth Races for the regulars - and, for those left behind, there's plenty of sporting action on the five TVs using two Sky boxes. The dominoes team plays on Tuesday, as does the women's darts team. The men's darts team meets on Thursday. Next to the big car park, there's a decking area for smokers, with three picnic tables.
